Sevier County to Celebrate New Archives Building with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Sevier County, Tennessee (March 19, 2024) – Sevier County is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new Sevier County Archives Building on Thursday, March 28th, 2024, at 10:00 AM.

The 17,000-square-foot facility at 1010 Old Knoxville Highway will be the permanent home for all of Sevier County's historical records.

“We are incredibly proud to officially open this new facility,” said Sevier County Mayor Larry Waters. “The new Archives Building is a tremendous resource for Sevier County and we are excited to open it."
