Sevier County Announces June 30th Deadline for STRU Inspection Program Applications

The deadline to apply for a Short-Term Rental Unit (STR) Inspection Permit in Sevier County is approaching. Property owners who operate short-term rentals in Sevier County outside of city limits have until June 30, 2024, to submit their applications.

 

The Sevier County Short-Term Rental Unit Inspection Program was established to prioritize the safety of guests in short-term rentals. The program accomplishes this by verifying compliance with minimum safety standards through annual inspections of all registered STRUs.

How to Apply

Property owners can apply for a Short-Term Rental Unit Inspection Permit online at https://www.communityconnect.io/info/tn-seviercounty.

 

Those wishing to pay by check can send their application and a check made out to “Sevier County Fire Prevention” to 149 Industrial Park Drive, Sevierville, TN 37862.
