Health Dept.: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) II

Activities associated with the job include providing licensed practical nursing to clients, following prescribed health care plans and protocols, tasking vital signs, and administering and monitoring the effects of medications. Additional activities include preparing patients for lab tests, performing routine medical assessments, explaining departmental programs and services, and obtaining required medical information from clients. Job-related duties require considerable experience performing nursing duties, considerable knowledge of common medical protocols and practices, and licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse II in the State of Tennessee.
