Steve Huskey		Rick Valentine

Steve Huskey has been the EMS Director for Sevier County since 2002. He has an extensive background in EMS and law enforcement and has been a paramedic since 1983.
Rick Valentine is the Assistant EMS Director for Sevier County. He holds an Associates Degree in Public Safety from Walter State Community College and has an extensive background in EMS and Fire. He has been a paramedic since 1990.
Both are members of the Region II EMS Directors Association and Tennessee Ambulance Service Association (TASA).
It is the goal of Sevier County EMS to provide the highest quality of pre-hospital emergency medical care to the residents and visitors of Sevier County.

Aeromedical Services: Sevier County EMS is fortunate to have a UT Lifestar medical transport
helicopter located at the Sevierville Airport. The aircraft can be rapidly activated by any credentialed provider within our system.

First Responder Program: Sevier County EMS oversees an active First Responder program with seven local community fire departments providing initial emergency medical care.
